John Roche
OwnerOwner, John Roche has been in the Optician business for over 35 years. John graduated from Erie Community College in 1977 with a degree in applied science in ophthalmic dispensing. Leaving Buffalo, NY John took a position at Trover Clinic in Madisonville, KY where he worked for one year as a dispensing optician in the ophthalmology department. In 1978 John and Patti moved to Winchester, KY and John managed an optical store for Dr. William J. Collis and in 1982 John and Wallace Williams formed a partnership with locations in both Winchester and Lexington. Then, in 1996 John ventured out on his own and opened John G. Roche Opticians in WInchester, Ky. After 34 years in Winchester, the legacy continues with John and his son Francis opening up a second location on Main Street in Lexington, KY in 2013.
